As part of the wider Mini Digi Hub project, supported through the PEACEPLUS Programme
Clones is set to benefit from the creation of a Digital Mini Hub in the heart of the town - located in the former Bank of Ireland building on The Diamond.
This new facility, transforming a once-derelict space into a vibrant centre of activity, will provide a modern, inclusive environment for digital learning, remote working, creativity, and cross-community collaboration, supporting local residents, schools, and businesses alike.

This project is funded through PEACEPLUS a Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
The hub will be equipped with a range of modern digital tools - from PCs, laptops and VR/AR training stations to 3D printers, laser cutters, podcasting equipment, and creative software suites - all designed to build confidence in data literacy, digital design, storytelling, and online communication.
It will serve as a community resource space that helps to bridge the digital divide, encourage lifelong learning, and foster social inclusion through shared projects and skills programmes. By blending technology with creativity, the Mini Digi Hub will enable people of all ages and backgrounds to connect, learn, and innovate together, strengthening the bonds of community while supporting economic renewal and cross-border cooperation.
This exciting development will complement the broader regeneration of Clones Town Centre, breathing new life into The Diamond and offering a welcoming shared space that reflects the PEACEPLUS vision of connection, collaboration, and a shared future for all.
